What are Havening Techniques® (also known as Delta Wave Therapy®) and how does it work?
The Havening Techniques® is a powerful cutting-edge neuroscience based psychosensory therapy created and developed by Ron Ruden, MD, Ph.D. and his brother Steven Ruden, DDS. It’s designed to change the brain to de-traumatize the memory and remove its negative effects from both psyche and body. As part of its protocol, The Havening Techniques uses the sensory input of human touch as a therapeutic tool (identified as the Havening Touch®). The Havening Touch® can be applied using your own hands on your face, arms, and hands or facilitated by the practitioner. The Havening Touch® produces soothing Delta brainwaves in the brain creating a calming and soothing feeling. Specific eye movements, visualizations, and distractions are used during the treatment.

Reiki
The word Reiki is derived from the Japanese words “rei”, meaning universal, and “ki”, or life force. This Japanese healing technique can aid in reducing pain, stress, anxiety, and fatigue along with promoting relaxation. As a certified Reiki Master I use my intension to guide the flow of healthy energy throughout your body, facilitating wellbeing. Reiki can also balance and remove blockages from the chakra system. Client is fully clothed during treatment. The practitioner’s hands may touch you lightly or move just above your body. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. You will be asked to remove your shoes, glasses, and any bulky jewelry.Healing crystals and essential oils can be used during this treatment. Please request when scheduling your appointment.

This is an energy healing technique that works with Archangelic, Angelic, and Divine Feminine energies that can provide emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. As a practitioner I work with your auric field and facilitate a deeply spiritual, nurturing, and peaceful healing. This technique is not a religious practice and is available to everyone.

Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils extracted from flowers, stems, roots, tree barks, resin, fruits and rhizomes. Their usage in religious rituals, meditation, and for medicinal purposes dates back thousands of years. They have powerful anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and immune boosting properties. We use essential oils today to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual health. Aromatherapy can be combined with other techniques to deepen your experience and help lessen your aches and pains.
Here you will find a few popular essential oils and their properties:
- Lavender oil – reduction in anxious feelings, sleep aid, wound healing, helps soothe irritated skin, relieves itchy bug bites, helps combat fungal and viral infections, can be used to treat eczema and psoriasis.
- Frankincense – stress and anxiety relief, arthritis and pain relief, respiratory support, sleep aid, skin health and anti-aging properties.
- Lemon oil – uplifting (mood), promotes mental clarity and focus, energizing, and ease morning sickness.
- Peppermint oil – stimulates the mind, supports memory and focus, helps concentration, overall powerful brain energizer.
- Sweet Orange oil – boosts immune system, helps lift sadness, calms stress, supports positive mindset.
- Rosemary oil – improves circulation, anti-cancer/anti-proliferative, stimulates central nervous system, promotes clear thinking, treats dandruff and seborrhea, has neuroprotective functions in brain cells that may be helpful in the prevention of Alzheimer’s Disease.

ALL ESSENTIAL OILS SHOULD BE PATCH-TESTED BEFORE TOPICAL USE. APPLY A SMALL AMOUNT OF SELECTED OIL TO SKIN BEHIND THE ELBOW, THEN MONITOR FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS FOR ANY REACTION.

Sound Healing
You probably already know that tuning forks have been used by doctors and chiropractors for years to assess hearing, neuropathy, and vibrational sensitivity, but did you know that they can also be used for relaxation and healing? Various tuning fork frequencies have been used to relax muscles and body tissues, de-stress the body, ease inflammation and swelling, and help eliminate headaches and migraines. They are used in Eastern Medicine to stimulate “qi”/or life force energy in the body that keeps us alive.
Acutonics® precision-calibrated planetary tuning forks (full set) are used in my practice.
